A Jaunt Down Recollection Avenue (Part 4)

So Tim’s grandparents aren’t perfect, but that’s cool; no one is. But man it would be interesting to have relatives as colorful in character as his. I must say before I go any further that my grandparents are wonderful people and their actions are in no way reflected in our work. Now focusing on Tim’s grandparents they are little bit on the funky side.

I loved SpongBob, and I still do. It’s a funny show even though the latest ones suck because they’re not funny and have too much singing. So as you can imagine I was shocked when I was told that it was accused of being related to homosexuality. First of all, to this day I cannot see a distinct connection, and second of all homosexuality isn’t a bad thing. I have homosexual relatives and they’re the nicest people you could ever meet.

I wonder what was so homosexual about SpongeBob? Was it that SpongeBob and Patrick are such good friends? The fact that they were always causing trouble for Squidward? I just cant see the connection. Maybe it was his voice? But no that can’t be right. It’s just a kids show with a talking sponge. Maybe it was just too groundbreaking; people couldn’t handle a sponge living in a pineapple under the sea. Its just too good, and I guess some people cant take it.

Well, I got Mass Effect 2. The problem was it wouldn’t work. Whenever I started it, nothing would happen. Eventually I had to reinstall Steam which uninstalled all my games. But it works now and that’s all that matters. Despite being a real pain in the ass. Well now all I have to do is beat Mass Effect 1 again because my saved game got erased and I want to upload my progress. It’s not really what you would call ideal circumstances, but hey, there are worse things than having to play Mass Effect again.

Hope you all enjoyed the comic and have a good weekend.

There was one episode, I think it was the Fry Cook Games or something, where SpongeBob and Patrick have to wrestle or something, and they get all giant and muscly, then they decide to be friends and walk off holding hands.

I am guessing that episode probably raised a few conservative eyebrows.

SpongeBob also likes Sandy, so they should at least say he is bisexual.

yeah! at least! although if we were being realistic he would also then be accused of beastiality because sandy is a squirrel. Living under the ocean. oh right and spongebob is A GODDAMNED SEA SPONGE. THEY REPRODUCE ASEXUALLY IN REAL LIFE!

Wasn’t there one where Sponge and Patrick raise a clam or something? Sponge is in a dress and the “mommy” while Pat’s the “daddy”.

Anyone remember the show where the pie was a bomb, and Squidward thought that Spongebob was going to die?

    That was a funny one.

And as for the gay issues, I think the show was just being silly… even though the Fry Cook Games were pretty suspicious.

I once watched Spongebob with my mom. It was around the time that they started calling Spongebob gay. A few minutes into the show my mom says “Their not gay their retarded”. Now you have to realize something, this isn’t just some random lady calling Spongebob and Patrick retarded this is a lady who’s been working with the mentally retarded for 30 fucking years. If anyone can tell the difference between someone who’s retarded and who’s gay it’s her.
