I didn't understand why he wanted me to "share his pain." Until it happened. "You might want to close your eyes." "Uh, why d- AAAAAAHH! OH MY GOD! HELP! SOMEBODY HELP! AAAAAAAHHHH! I CAN'T UNSEE IT!!!!!" The entire theater screamed in agony. Briefly I considered gouging out my eyes with a plastic straw, but I didn't want to make things worse for the people in front of me. Who wants to feel a splatter of blood on the back of their head at the worst moment of their miserable life? No one. Instead I fell into a fit of shivering, mumbling, and eye rolling. I share his pain. A friend of mine brought me to see the movie. I didn’t understand why he wanted me to “share his pain.”
